The Tourists were a British rock and pop band. They achieved brief success international between 1979-80 releasing 3 albums and 5 singles and 2 of those singles went top 10 including their cover of the classic I ONLY WANNA BE WITH YOU’ (#4). After the band split in 1980 two of its members, singer Annie Lennox and guitarist Dave Stewart, went on to international success as Eurythmics.
